The very latest version of the program adds support for Windows 10 and improves the performance and stability of the burning engine, making this an excellent all-round burning suite. This means that you can not only burn ISO images to disc, but also create your own so you can reduce the contents of an entire CD or DVD to a single file. In addition to all of this, you can also rip music from audio CDs, erase re-writable discs and work with disc images. Audio CDs can be created using MP3, WAV, MP3, FLAC, WMA and OGG files on your hard drive and you can also burn video discs that you are able to use in a regular DVD player.
You can still burn files to not only CD and DVD, but also Blu-ray, and there is a simple wizard that guides you through the process of creating all manner of different disc types. The fact that the program is available free of charge does not mean that you have to make compromises. The problem with many dedicated disc burning tools is that they are either expensive to buy or complex to use. But if you want to do anything more advanced, such as performing a more involved backup, or creating a video disc, the built in tools are just not going to cut it. With Windows installed you have the ability to burn basic discs so you can backup files or transfer documents between computers.
